The Tell A Friend contest is a contest open to any MegaMates.com registered user. To participate in the contest a registered user will refer people to the MegaMates.com site by either entering their email address and asking MegaMates.com send an email invitation for them, copying a pre-formated invitation and sending it themselves and/or printing out the available pre-printed cards and passing them out to their friends.

A referred user when registering will be asked to enter the username of the person who referred them to MegaMates.com. upon successfully registering the user will begin to accumulate points towards the persons account who referred them. Points are accumulated throughout the lifetime of the contest for each member who is referred. Points are awarded for the following:

A new winner each week will be announced. The user who has accumulated the most points by combining the total of all users who they have referred will be declared the winner. Users are only eligible to win once.
