Setup

The "Message Alert By Phone" option allows you to receive notification of new messages sent to your MegaMates account by telephone. Only new messages will be notified along with any new winks.

Note: A message notification will not be sent for receiving only winks. A message must be received in order to receive a message notification phone call.

To setup message notification by phone:

  1. Press the change system colors button from the My Account window.
  2. Press the "Schedule Phone Notification Times" button. add audio
  3. Check the check box next to "Notify me by phone" when I get messages on MegaMates. add audio
  4. Set the times of the day you would like to be notified or you may choose 24 hours a day by pressing the check box to the left of 24 hours.
  5. Enter your phone number for "Call me at this phone number" in the following format XXX-XXX-XXXX.
  6. Press Submit.

To validate your phone number:

  1. Call 1-888-MEGAMATES (888-634-2628) from any touchtone phone.
    Note: This is a FREE call to make to ensure your phone number is correct.
  2. When the welcome greeting has started press the number "4" to skip ahead.
  3. Follow the automated prompts to validate your phone number.
